The Bunker Hill house is the newest of our vacation rentals. This house is across the street from the Bunker House and is nestled in an Aspen grove. The house sits on half an acre and is a popular place for wildlife viewing from the attached gazebo. Located in Angel Fire Resort, only one and a half miles from the 67 ski trails and two miles from the Angel Fire Resort PGA golf course.
This 2250 square foot vacation rental has four bedrooms, three baths and a sleeping alcove with two queen mattresses. "The Cave" is a perfect place for the young'uns and for the young at heart. There are sleeping accommodations for 14+.
The large open family area includes a living room, dining room, family room and kitchen.
The living room features a stone wood-burning fireplace, comfortable furniture and a large window to view the outdoors. There is a large sleeper sofa in this room.
The family/game room includes a big screen TV connected to the Dish Network with 120 channels plus local programming. There is comfortable seating, a game table and a computer with wireless hi-speed access and a printer.
The fully equipped kitchen has plenty of dishes, cookware and utensils for your large group. In addition to the dining area, there is an eating bar with barstools.
There are three full baths and a laundry room with washer and dryer.
Three bedrooms are furnished with king beds and the fourth with two sets of bunk beds. All bed and bath linens are provided. There is a TV in the master bedroom as well as one in the "Cave". All TV's are hooked up to Dish network.
The sleeping alcove or "The Cave" is a large elevated area that the kids will love. It is a perfect place for a "pajama party" with two queen sized mattresses, games and a TV.
Prime season is the ski season but this is a great summer place and the aspens are magnificent in the fall. Do you have large party of up to 28? You can combine this with the Bunker House across the street. Need room for more (up to 40)? The George House next door can be bundled with the Bunker House and Bunker Hill, if available.
The outside deck is 80 feet long and 4 decks surround the house. Add that to the gazebo and you have a place to relax and watch the grazing elk or deer or just enjoy the mountains.
A modern computer/printer is available with DSL highspeed. Or bring your laptop to use the wireless DSL throughout the house or decks.
This house is only 15 hours from Phoenix, 10 from Oklahoma City, 5 from Amarillo, 6 from Lubbock and 3 from Albuquerque.
Pets are NOT allowed nor is smoking permitted.
Beautiful place to enjoy a crackling fire and watch the snow fall or take in the gorgeous trees and fall colors.
Cool and shaded. A perfect place to barbeque, read a book or just relax and look for wildlife.
Bedroom #1 also features a king-size bed.
